Wheel of the YearThe Wheel of the Year at Moontree is programme of open pagan ritual celebrations to mark the turning of the year and use the energies of the seasons to support personal and magical development. The modern pagan calendar is made up of eight celebrations, or Sabbats, based on the four solar festivals (Solstices and Equinoxes) and four cross-quarter days.

Each event will be held on the Thursday evening before the Sabbat date, from 7:30pm to 9:30pm. The cost is £10 per head and each event will include a discussion about the festival, a ritual, magical and healing work, meditation and socialising. We will also provide you with a hand out detailing the ritual for you to take home.

These are non denominational Pagan events. All are welcome whatever your path, Pagan or otherwise. We are not a Coven or a Moot and we’re not associated with one specific path. We work in an eclectic way, and encourage and respect everyone’s personal spiritual journey. We’re very sorry, but we can’t accommodate children for these evenings.

The dates for the rest of 2011 are as follows:
Summer Solstice: Thursday 16th June
Lammas: Thursday 28th July
Autumn Equinox: Thursday 22nd September
Samhain: Thursday 27th October
Winter Solstice: Thursday 15th December
